Yes, looks like that area - today's Hennessy Road. The row of three-storey buildings with the four-storey building at the end is also shown in this photo:

No tram track are visible on the road that will become Hennessy Road, so the date is earlier than 1904, probably 1901 as the one of the Queen Victoria Statue in the same series.
