Think the building under construction (on the right) is Sun Hey Mansion [1965- ].

  You are right. The mansion and the Chinese methodist church are both on south side of  Hennessy Road. The vacant side on the north side cannot be Rediffusion House. It should be on Gloucester Road at the waterfront at the time and further east past the church.

Moddsey is correct, the empty site on the left is where Rediffusion Building House used to be - on the corner of Arsenal Street and Hennessy Road. It's quite plain to see from the images that it wasn't east of the church at all.

The photo shows the original location of Rediffusion Building. Due to expansion, Rediffusion moved into Rediffusion House on Gloucester Road in 1959 as noted here

thanks for the clarification Moddsey. Apologies for the mistake. Additionally, if the date on the image is correct then perhaps the demolition date for Rediffusion "Building" can be moved back a year (currently set to 1966).
