Thanks for this information. Do you know which brewery he worked for, and if it was a success? Unfortunately it looks as though he died not long after he arrived in Hong Kong.
His grave is in Hong Kong Cemetery:

He was my grandfathers brother. Family history has it that he was in Hong Kong to open a brewery when he was killed. I am searchiung for more information on the cause of death and his activities while in Hong Kong
