Elizabeth Ann Joffe was born
Elizabeth Ann Joffe was born in Camp on 27 Jan 1942 .....she must have been one of the first if not first birth as most internees went into Stanley around 21 Jan 1942. Her mother was Millicent Evelyn Joffe (nee Murray) whose husband Eugene Max Joffe was in HKVDC serving with Hughes Group. He was an electrical engineer with CLP.
