The satellite view of the area shows there is still a low-rise building at this location, though I'm not sure if it's the original building used by the school or not.
I've seen several mentions that the school was created by the Portuguese community in the 1950s, but I don't know if the building was built at that time, or they moved in to an existing building.
Any further information, photos & memories gratefully received.

I walked past here on Tuesday, and took the chance to have a quick look.
Here's the entrance from across the road:
At the top of the steps. Sorry for the blurry photo, but you can still just about see the sign on the left, "Portuguese Community Schools Inc":
The gates are locked. They have a notice about the removal in 2012:
