As the two theatres were located in the same building and operating in the same period, both are discussed here.

Address: 22-36 Paterson Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, site of the current MCL JP Causeway Bay Cinema.
Jade Theatre operated during the period December 24 1969 - September 6, 1998.
Pearl Theatre operated during yh period December 15, 1971 - September 6, 1998.

Hi there,
They are the mainstays of the Shaw Brothers where Jade primarily screened their own productions and Pearl Boasted the biggest curved screen in town with start of the art Audio experience. I believe the inauguration premier was 'Krakatoa East of Java' back then.
