Photo dated 1925/26 sent back home by my grandmother M.G. Marks-Groot to family in the Netherlands. On the reverse side she simply had written (in Dutch): "Street view" (Straattooneeltje), without any details as to location or otherwise.

The shop houses are very similar to the ones found in Singapore
