He was replaced by Eric William Hamilton as the Acting Postmaster General in March 1917

"Acting Postmaster General

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. Eric William Hamilton to act as Postmaster General in addition to his other duties during the temporary absence of Mr. Dudley Corscaden Wolfe or until further notice, with effect from March 23.”
