The concrete ruins are in a cutting that matches the placement of the 1939 DEL constructed to serve the Aberdeen Battery. The slabs are haphazardly placed and their connection to the DEL is circumstantial without further information. Access is slightly hazardous as traffic comes from around a bend and there is a drainage ditch immediately on the other side of the fence.
