Comments
Peak Tram
Not quite the Peak but probably taken from the Peak Tram near MacDonnell Road. The small building straight down is the Helena May Institute, and the one on the left with round corners should be Park Mansions (1st Generation) - 27-29 Macdonnell Road [c.1950-c.1983]
That is really interesting,
That is really interesting, thank you. I know that we lived in a flat on MacDonnell Road so that makes absolute sense. I really appreciate your comments - I was only 3 when we went out to Hong Kong so my memories are rather limited.
View from Magazine Gap Road
The large white residential building in the middle and slightly to the left is easily recognized as the one which used to locate on the north side of MacDonnell Road and just to the west of the Peak Tram track. So the picture should be taken above MacDonnell Road - likely from Magazine Gap Road, looking north.
