Hi there,

I think they have a foundation stone somewhere.  I'll take a look the next time I am in Central.  It should be somewhere in the 1950's, I think.

Hello, I just found some photographs of the building on the Internet: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Central_Building,_Hong_Kong The foundation stone was laid on Aug. 29, 1957.
