HKIS bought Cabin #13 on Lantau about 1975, I believe from the Baptists. It was used as family and faculty outings. We camped there several times for weekends, usually in Spring or Fall. Everything had to be hauled up, of course. One of my students, a gweilo Baptist missionary kid, was built like a horse, and would carry a 20-gallon tin of kerosene on a wooden backpack frame. There was also an ample supply of cow "biscuits" that were usually dry enough to burn, although we didn't cook our food over them!!!!
