wow thats fantastic .. I used to live on the flat above you .. and we used to have the garden on the side as you walked up all thoes stairs.

 

I guess your dad used to work for the Telephone company as my dad did .. I will try and find some photos

From what I remember the ground floor of No 14 in 1970 or thereabouts was occupied by a Mr Brelsford (Ray ?) who as you say, was employed by the Telephone company as a security officer. I knew your Dad (Tony) - his Austin Healey sports car  and later the Volvo P1800 coupe.

Hi thanks for the contact.. Yes dad did have the Healey .. I remember the exhaust used to get so hot my flip flops used to melt in the foot well. And had the valve for ages right up until he moved to Stanley happy days !
