Dominican Procuration for Missions (I.L. 576 R.P.) [????-????]
Thanks to reader "R C" who identified this building:
The building marked "F" was Dominican Mission? Kindly advise if there is more information about this old buiding in between Castle Road and Seymour Road (now it is Merry Terrace). Thanks.
I found a mention in the 'Religious Institutions' section of the 1930 Blue Book:
|| For Missions in China and Tonquin, on Inland Lot No. 576, R.P.
A footnote explains "||" as:
The Procurator in Hong Kong for the Dominican Missions in the Far East.
Does anyone know when the building was built or demolished? We know that Merry Terrace is on the site now, but I don't know if it followed this building, or another building was there between them.
