Mid 1950's : Map shows two larger buildings standing in line and connected by a thinner building. Numbered 275 & 276 The Peak and named Gough Hill Quarters. No. 292 The Peak stands seperate nearby. Unsure if 292 is the same building as the 292 in the 1924 map. (www.gwulo.com/atom/22205)

Early 1960's : Map shows site occupied by a building of a similar footprint to No.'s 275 & 276 in the mid 1950's map, but numbered No.'s 74 & 76 Peak Road. Other buildings numbered 2 and 82 stand nearby, one of which maybe the same building as 292 in the mid-1950's map. (www.gwulo.com/atom/15993)..

1967 : Photo shows a building of similar footprint (2 buildings in line connected by smaller building) to the mid 50's and early 60's maps above (www.gwulo.com/21078)

1985 : Orient Crest Quarters, a residential developement, built and numbered 74-76 Peak Road.

Good work on tracing the history of this lot. It looks as though there have been three generations of building? If you agree, please could you make Places for the earlier two generations and link them together with the "Previous place(s) at this location". That'll give us a timeline for the lot, and I can add the various photos you've noted to the right generation.

Regards, David

I lived at 76 Peak Road from approx 1962 to July 1965 and have several photos I can up load if anyone is interested

Yes please! Always good to see the old houses that are no longer standing.

Your photos will show the previous generation of buildings at this site. We've got a page for them at: https://gwulo.com/node/28292
