Queen's Building
That's a very clear view, thank you for uploading the sharp copy.
If we zoom in there are good shots of the statues of Queen Alexandra on the left, and Fame on the right.
Is there any postmark on the back or other clues to the date?
Regards, David
The back of the Postcard
The back of the Postcard is blank undortunately. I was wondering on the Statues do they still exist in there current location or not at all?
The Statues are long gone
The Japanese took away the statues during the war. Queen Victoria's statue was found, returned, and is now in Victoria Park. The rest were lost.
Queen Victoria Statue
Thank you for the update on the Statues, I had no idea of the past history of the statues, such a great loss but at least Queen Victoria was found. Thank You! Eric
