Hi David,

Today I read on a Chinese newspaper that someone called "David" with metal detector in hand had found a British WWII hand grenade in Wong Ngai Chung.  The police was called and the grenade detonated.  Was that you or anyone who frequents Gwulo?

No, I haven't heard anything about this - though coincidentally someone else has posted to Facebook congratulating me on my find!

It was found by two fiends of mine (Dave and Stuart). It was a British Mills Grenade found near the door of PB2 . Another British grenade was found over the w/e near Lugarde Road. Grenade finds are reasonably frequent. Best  regards,  Philip
