There are actually three bridges there today, all built at different period of time. Two for vehicles and one for MTR. For those 'in-construction' photos they should be the first.one, as mentioned in your photos, in the 1970's, a bit before the Apleichau House Estate was built. I'll have to look up the dates.
The second bridge was completed just a little bit after the Phase one of South Horizons was completed while the MTR bridge was completed just a bit more than a year ago.
In this respect the marker should be pointing to the bridge in the middle.
Original bridge started construction on 28 January 1997 and was completed by 28 March 1980. The second bridge started construction on 1st May 1991 and was completed by 27 July 1991.
