新世界影畫戲院 ~ 恆星戲院 - World ~ Forever Star Theatre

The above source gives the two successive names of the theatre.  The name change took place in 1970 (likely during shut down), and reopened on January 8, 1971 using the new name.

See also the application of the World Theatre to serve drinks on the premises when the cinema opened in 1921 because the distance from hotels meant that members of the audience couldn't get a drink during the interval. The argument was that it therefore couldn't make as much revenue as other cinemas.  https://gwulo.com/comment/reply/13947/50217
