Seating Capacity: 870. Address: 236 Lai Chi Kok Road, Kowloon. Lai Luen Building is the current occupant at the site.
Ming Sing Theatre starting operating in 1927 (or about) until June 1, 1971. A fabric curtain separated the small front lobby and the seating area. A small concrete staircase to the upper level was at the front of the building. The front row seats were very close to the screen but other than this one experience, I watched some memorable movies one of which was a drama from a chapter in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Ming Sing Theatre closed on June 1, 1971.
