Address: Castle Peak Road (Hung Shui Kiu) and Tan Kwai Tsuen Road intersection, southeast corner, Hung Shui Kiu, New Territories, Hong Kong.  Formerly Lai Hung Park, the current occupants are the Lai Hung Garden Blocks.

The Chinese name for the theatre was likely referenced to its immediate neighbour - a bridge (Kiu) on Castle Peak Road over a stream called Hung Shui (looks like an artificial channel from the air).

Hung Shui Kiu Theatre started operating on January 20, 1966 and was closed some time in the late 1970s.  For the purpose of this page, the closing date is estimated to be 1978.
