Screens 1 and 2 of UA Whampoa started operating in October 1989, and Screens A, B, C and D in May 1989.   On December 17, 1999 Screens 1 and 2 were renamed Cinemetro and both of them ended operation on February 15, 2001.  For the remaining screens, their last day of operaion was October 7, 2009.
