Ying Wah~Ritz Theatre (San Po Kong) / 英華戲院~麗斯戲院 [1967-2005]

For simplicity, the two theatres which operated in the same hall are discussed here.

Address: 84 Choi Hung Road, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.  San Po Kong Mansion is the current occupant at the site.  From Google street views, the theatre building remains standing today and has been converted to a 5-storey residential place.

​Ying Wah Theatre was the first to operate at the site.  It had total seating capacity of 1,454 consisting of 990 on lower level and 464 on upper level.  It started operating on February 8, 1967 until sometime in late 1980s or early 1990s when it was renamed Ritz Theatre which subsequently closed on August 8, 2005.
