Research by Cinema Treasures shows that Kok Sun Garden Theatre operated on December 3, 1902 near a garden in Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon.  Later that month on December 16 it moved to a site near the Central Market in Central, Hong Kong.

It should be noted that, according to the Wikipedia source, there was a theatre also with the same Chinese name: "高陞戲院 (上環皇后大道西)已拆卸,現為僑發大廈" = located on Queen's Road West, demolished, current site occupant the Kiu Fat Building.  The Kiu Fat Building is on the north side of Queen's Road West between Kom U Street and Wo Fung Street, and quite a distance west of the Central Market.  Perhaps both sources are talking about the same theatre, or at one time the theatre left Central Market and moved west, or there were more than one Kiu Fat Building.  The location marker on this map is placed at the Kiu Fat Building discussed above.

Its closing date is not available.
