嘉禾GV荷里活, or Golden Harvest GV Hollywood, was the first theatre to operate in Plaza Hollywood which was constructed in 1997. The theatre started operating in June 1997. It had six screens having seating capacities ranging from 225 to 348. About 10 years after opening, the theatre was renovated, and renamed 嘉禾荷里活 (Golden Harvest Hollywood).
The theatre ended operation when its lease expired on March 31, 2011, and this day is considered the closing date of the original theatre. Operation soon resumed under new management / ownership, and with a new name Broadway Hollywood which continues to operate today.
