These rocks appear in old photos of the harbour, and on old maps.

Channel Rock was a big rock in the middle of Kowloon Bay. In 1921, a navigational beacon was built on the rock.
P.S. Please add the tag "Navigational beacon" (it appears on the 1960 harbour chart). And 1975 should be the end of this place, and not the start.
With a bit of imagination, Channel Rock can still be spotted in the reclaimed area.
