Ian Scott Fisher born 16 April 1909 is named as the child of a serving soldier born Derny Stirlingshire

On 9 November 1945 the Highland Monarch arrived in Southampton from the far east and one of the many returnees was

On 13 November 1953 John Fisher Scott age 44 police officer travelled from Southampton to Hong Kong with his wife Lily Ann Clark Reid Scott age 44  and Ian Reid Scott age 5. Address in UK the same as in 1945.

On 2 March 1959  The family sailed to Hong Kongand dates of birth were shown.

At the time of the Japanese invasion John Scott was Lance-Sergeant 118 in the HKP, attached to Special Branch.

Remember him well. He was a Chief Inspector at  Eastern in the early 60s. A nice chap
