Hi Phil,

I believe the building specifications of shophouses in Wanchai are quite similar thus maybe we could user the distance between the shophouse pillars as an estimate.  But we really have to go there to have a feel of it.  Anyway, my estimation would be around where the present day escalaters are located.

Hi Thomas, I've nudged it over to where Google says the escalators are and that seems to tally better with the 1957 map. Many thanks, Phil
