Japanese Wartime Tunnel system behind AOP Matilda [????- ]

Directly behind the AOP Matilda a tunnel entrance in N direction leads into a system with 2 further exits. One exit in W and one E direction of the ridge leading up to Matilda.

Very easy to reach, just climb over the railing at the very southern grass lawn edge from Matilda and head down the ribbon trail for about 40m until you hit the British built AOP.

I think the reason why there is so many AOP's with tunnels leading away, is because they were used as escape tunnels.
