I've changed the name from Merion to Meirion to match the way it is spelled in the Peak Directory.

On the 1924 map (http://gwulo.com/atom/13017), it has the address "5 & 6. Meirion, Nos. 2 & 1". It was a semi-detached building containing two residences addressed as 5 or 6, The Peak. From the order shown above, it looks as though 1, Meirion was at 6, The Peak, and 2, Meirion was at 5, The Peak.

Item 38 in the PWD's Annual Report for 1925 lists the serious fires in the year, including:

April - No. 5, Peak Road, R.B.L. 58. European dwelling, partly gutted. No casualties.
