An earlier image than most. The many spectators are wearing their hair tied in the 'queue' style. Sailors or soldiers appear to be trying to board the tram.

This 'Bus' with the signboard RAF Homantin on the bumper highlights yet another obscure RAF establishment in Hong Kong. I think this location was a mansion block on the middle slope of Homantin Hill Road that when I lived above it in the 1970s housed RAF families.
