1930s TST Signal Hill

Think that 1930 is a good estimate for this photo.

Left is Holt's Wharf, then Signal Hill with (I guess) Signal Hill Battery/Blackhead Fort. The tower has its cupola, so its definitely between 1928 and 1933. Can't see the lighthouse.

Right of the hill are houses, likely DeJongh family residence, and then buildings under construction: Lyemun Flats / Lyemun Buildings / Harbour View Hotel.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

A terrace of two-storey houses on Cameron Road. Probably built around 1895 (together with other houses in this newly developed area) and replaced by four-storey buildings in the early 1920s (??). New houses on a 1927 photo.

Observatory Villas under construction, St. Mary's Canossian School right behind.  Gun Club Hill Barracks on the hill.

Has a date: 1903-09-13

Looks like bricks on the left for future buildings.

European House on K.I.L. 537, northern side of Cameron Road, probably number 33. Appears first on the 1895 map on hkmaps.hk.

The Public Works Report for 1892 refers

126. Kowloon New Roads. (C.S.O. 397/1892).—Detail plans and estimates were laid before a meeting of the Public Works Committee held on the 23rd of May for the construction of Des Voeux, Granville, Cameron, Carnarvon, East and Middle Roads......

Peking Road Redevelopment

Newspaper article from August 1996:

Redevelopment of the area where the old TST Market (on the photo bottom right) stood. The new built  One Peking Road looks different to the proposed one showed below the photo. Also, the park sketched in front of the former Water Police Station wasn't built.

More information probably in Chinese.
