There was no quay here so passengers were tranferred from the ferry, Pok Teng, to a longboat which landed them on the shore.

The Camp, looking east. My mother's note on the back of the photo states that the house in the foreground was the one wrecked in the typhoon [1937?]. All the shutters, windows and doors were blown in or off.
