I believe that this is the The Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Company (HYF) vessel "Man King," approaching the Hung Hom ferry terminal.

Taken from the Star Ferry Pier TST or from a ferry just after leaving the pier. Despite the opening of the cross-harbour tunnel in 1972, car ferries still operate.

Taken from the Peak Outlook after sunset. As far as I remember, the exposure time was something like 30-60 seconds - a bit tricky without a tripod. I guess I put the camera on a post, fence, or something like that.
