Referred to as a 'coal bunker' on the 1952 map, and 'Lai Chi Kok coal yard' on the 1956 Kowloon map. It seems to have covered quite a large area.

Coal/briquette works, Kowloon [c.1895-????]

Shown on 1896 Kowloon map, located on ML 35.

The coal/briquette works were just to the south of the oil/petrol storage tanks on the same large marine lot (the latter were destroyed in WW2). <Read more ...>
