I'm not sure of the relationship between Charles Sassoon Gubbay and Harry Gubbay, mentioned in connection with Broadwood Road by Angela Niles in the posts on Annie Bond and childhood memories of the family house. According to the Rate Book, my grandfather Charles Warren sold 16 Broadwood Road I.L. 2128, to C.S. Gubbay in 1916. It wasn't part of the C.E.
