1910 To Kwa Wan Island = 土瓜灣島

Text on Flickr:

The small temple, known as Hoi Shum, seen on the photograph, is located on a small rocky island long known as To Kwa Wan Island, off To Kwa Wan, on the western shore of Kowloon Bay. The island was still recorded on maps of 1947, but disappeared by 1964 in the massive land reclamation and Kai Tak Airport extension at Kowloon Bay. See also PC89.61, a similar view of the island, c.1910, and PC97.17-a close-up of the Rock on top of the island, taken from the opposite side, in the early 1960s.
