Advertisement for F. Blackhead & Co which operated a soap and soda making factory at "Shukiwan" (Shaukeiwan) . The company were also ships chandlers, provisions merchants and sail makers with branches in Canton and Tsingtau. Published as a full-page advertisment in the 1914 edition of the Directory & Chronicle for Japan, China, Corea, Indo-China etc., etc.

Scan of advertisement for Jardine Matheson & Co. Ltd. published in the 1914 edition of the Directory & Chronicle for China. Japan,Corea, Indo-China. etc.etc. . The building depicted is the 2nd generation Jardine House which stood at the corner of Pedder Street and Des Voeux Road central
