Note the old road names, Macdonnell Road for Canton Road, Garden Road for Hankow Road and Chater Road for Peking Road and the pre-implementation of a separate kowloon inland/marine lot system.

The time ball tower at Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station came into operation on 1 January 1885. In 1907 the time ball was moved to Signal Hill. Source: From Time ball to Atomic Clock by Anthony Dyson.
