PS I went looking back through old newspapers from previous years of the rabbit (1939, 1951, 1963). I tried the first day's paper of the new year, looking for some rabbity images, but this picture was the closest I could find. It looks as though new-year-themed articles and advertisments are a relatively recent fashion.
