The House and Development Committee of the Aberdeen Boat Club is looking for any old photos of the club, especially of our original Nissen Hut clubhouse which was erected sometime possibly before November 1969. We are planning to showcase any photos of the club or its activities from the early days. On our visit to Hong Kong in August 1980 we made a sampan ride through Aberbeen harbour. We saw many boats with people who seemed to live there. I'm not sure, but there is a slight memory that refugees lived there whowere not allow to go ashore. <Read more ...>
