This was the top terrace where the big canon (now at Coastal Defence Museum) was situated in the centre. There were 6 blocks of two numbers each with four storeys. No.1&2 as well as No.11&12 were Type A1. The rest A-type. Most in the other terraces except one terrace were B-Type which were smaller. Governor Sir Alexander Grantham unveiled the foundation stones situated at the front of the Canon.
