Marker Stone near 1-3 Ma Tau Wai Road, at the corner of an alley [????- ]

Hi there,

I spotted this last night. Unfortunately the stone had already been weathered down. I was unable to read the engraving. It could be a K.I.L. or a H.H.I.L. I will return for a second visit in daylight later.

The same alley is the one with pillars on both ends that have mentioned before. If you check up the street map of the location, you should be able to see the same alley continues on the other side of Ma Tau Wai Road straight to Gilles Avenue South and beyond.

K.I.L. 2004 Marker Stones at Pak Tai Temple, Ma Tau Wai Road [????- ]

I spotted these two K.I.L. 2004 Marker Stone located at the two corners of the temple facing Ma Tau Wai Road.

H.H.I.L. 293 & 296 Marker Stone @ 44 Wuhu Street, Hung Hom [????- ]

Hi there,

After bumping into the K.I.L. Markers on Ma Tau Wai Road I decided to take a look in the neighbourhood for houses being built more or less in the same period and indeed, I found another set of H.H.I.L Markers on the first step of another staircase in Wuhu Street.

K.I.L. Marker Stones at #58-68 Ma Tau Wai Road, Hung Hom [????- ]

Hi there,

In this part of Ma Tau Wai Road there are still a roll of older houses around. Here in #58-68 of Ma Tau Wai Road there are three sets of K.I.L. Marker Stone being set on the first step of the stair cases. Some of them are quite weathered down and the lot number are not showing.

H.H.I.L. 168 Marker Stone around Kwan Yin Temple in Station Street, Hung Hom [????- ]

Hi there,

Again there are three pieces of H.H.I.L. 168 Market Stones. One each at the two corners of the temple building on Station Street, and anothre in the back alley.

H.H.I.L. 444 Marker Stone in the Hung Hom Area [????- ]

Hi there,

I had been walking around in Hung Hom last night after work. Surprise, I found there are quite a lot of these marker stone around. I saw three pieces of this H.H.I.L. 444 stone around the corners of the Poo Ai Primary School, a school that was already closed down last year. <Read more ...>
