On the 1912 Peak Map its RBL 126. The house number was set in 1924 to "457, The Peak" (see 1924 map), today's address is "28, Barker Road".

The house was demolished (mid-sixties?) and replaced by Knightsbridge Court.

Knightsbridge Court (28 Barker Road) was most likely built in 1965 (see http://gwulo.com/atom/18665) and finished in 1966.  It had 14 luxury apartments. In December 2009 the demolition started, it was replaced by seven new houses, also named Knightsbridge Court (A-G).

This is the first image I found where the second generation Richmond House is gone. I think what we see at the house's site is a fence around (possibly) an excavation site for e.g. cellars. The steel rig around the flagpole is still there. A detail is shown below:

Found this plan here. Its from an architecture journal (ABE Journal 5/14) and titled: China Papers: The architecture archives of the building company Crédit Foncier d’Extrême-Orient (1907-59).

The plan is by the Belgian architect Gustave Volkaert. Although its for 62 Barker Road (an address I could not find) it could be Epworth Loadge (although this 51 Barker Road).

This clip from one of my roll-film slides shows many of the properties raised by "Klaus" in various posts.

If someone has the expertise to create a layer on this image and add the names of the properties, I can supply a copy of the image via David

This is a detail from my picture http://gwulo.com/atom/20899 showing Cragside Mansion (left) and Altadena House (right). Right hand side in front is the roof of the former Hong Kong Hilton (with the flag). Unfortunately, 31 Barker road is behind the Hilton.
