An image from the HK Telegraph newspaper microflim. Probably at Kwangti Racecourse, Fanling that was used during annual camps

Not many images of the Air Arm and its participants appear to have survived

Hopefully one day an proper photographic image of this scene will emerge on flikr or in albums on offer by ebay

Advert from the Hong Kong Volunteers Year Book 1935-1936

It suggests sending biscuit gift parcels back ‘Home’, but Peak Frean was a well-known biscuit manufacturer back ‘Home’ in the UK, as it was known by the ‘homesick.’

Surely the biscuits were not shipped to Hong Kong, and then parcelled back to the UK again by ship? The perishable product could hardly have survived the double journey by sea.

St John's Cathedral - Royal HK Regiment & Royal HK Auxiliary Air Force

Would anyone have photos of the Royal Hong Kong Regiment and Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force Banners/Guidon which have been laid-up in the Cathedral on the disbandment of these Units before the handover in 1997? If so, may I please be sent details.
