There is already a photograph on Gwulo of a different Canberra bomber at Kai Tak(?) but John noted that this was the first one to be flown into Kai Tak - now corrected to Sek Kong - in early 1956 by Air Marshall Sir Dermot Boyle. As the newly appointed Chief of the Air Staff he was making a 20,000 mile tour of R.A.F. bases in the Middle and the Far East.
