Do the shop signs or the shape of the roof in the centre of the photograph provide a clue as to which street this is?  From the shadows, it was probably taken looking to the North. (Andrew S)

This is Pottinger Street from Wellington Street. The ARP Network 16 tunnel entrance can be seen bottom of picture
