The light blue building should be on Hennessy & Fenwick. It is still around with a Circle K convenient store at the corner in the past 20 years or so. There was a construction site in the photo in Picasa, which would become the Singapore Hotel later. I was in the neighbourhood earlier:
I was standing in the approximate location of the original photographer, plue or minus 20 metres.
The one with scaffoldings was on Lockhart instead. I believe The Google Beetle was on Jaffee & Fenwick when it took that shot.
Here's another Google Beetle shot at the same area:
Looking up the map, then it means the blue building should be 新基大廈, Sun Kai Mansion (38-46 Hennessy Road). We can see it from T's photo. Even in David's photo we can see a shade of it in the distance.
When we zoom in on the Google photo, the building appears to be painted green.

Does anyone recognise which
Does anyone recognise which corner this is? I guess the taller buildings in this photo are still here today.
Fenwick Street
This would be Fenwick Street looking south towards the junction with Hennessy Road.
Thanks Moddsey. maybe that
Thanks Moddsey. maybe that Blue building from the photo is still with us, though it looks as though it's had a face-lift or two:
