Hi there
what do you know aside from what you've posted? ... just a quick look at a couple of sites and I've noticed policeman Edward Brooks returning to the UK in 1951 from China (HK) with wife Winnie, and he's also listed as a Sergeant in the Police Force on the Hong Kong War Diary list. Have you tried the RHKPA - their archivist might be able to help. I'm not sure that the Police Museum would have anything about him specifically, unless he'd been involved in any particular events.
