These pillars together with the clock tower are what's left of the original KCRC Terminus in TST. The Pillars were relocated to this location after TSTE was developed up to a certain phase.
I really don't know if this fits. But I am posting it anyway. Despite the pillars, it is definitely NOT of the Guangzhou style ones.
It's quite a big one and quite well preserved too, but I am unable to confirm it's completion date. The upper floors had been one of the locally well known photo studios 'I Do' for a while. However the floors had been vacant now.
During the Japanese Occupation Period [when the compound was used as a base for the Japanese Navy], extensive underground tunnels were constructed beneath the lawn but after World War II, in view of public safety, these tunnels were blocked and the lawn was re-turfed.
